AGC Chemicals Americas Brings AI Training to Their Exton Headquarters

On March 25 and 26, Dynaimix AI Trainer Dan Callahan led a two-day Intro to AI training session at AGC Chemicals Americas’ U.S. headquarters in Exton, Pennsylvania. The session was the first of two planned training groups, with Group 2 coming soon.

A Full Room and Full Buy-In

AGC Chemicals brought a completely full room for the training, with participants spanning a wide range of roles across the organization. C-level executives, HR, sales, marketing, procurement, and even chemists from the company’s technical teams were all in attendance. That kind of cross-functional turnout says something about how seriously AGC Chemicals is approaching AI adoption. This wasn’t a session tucked away in one department. It was a company-wide initiative.

Among those in the room was AGC Chemicals Americas CEO Bill Lillis, who was actively encouraging adoption throughout the session. Lillis noted that the quote that stood out to him most during the training was one that resonated with the entire room: “AI won’t replace you, but people that use AI will replace those who don’t.”

Focused on Copilot, Built Around Real Use Cases

AGC Chemicals Americas already has an internal LLM in place for handling more sensitive data, but every employee in the company also has a Microsoft Copilot license. The challenge was that most people had been defaulting to the internal tool and hadn’t explored what Copilot could do for their day-to-day work. For many in the room, the Dynaimix-led training was their first real introduction to the platform.

The session, titled “The Future of Work: AI-Driven Innovations Making Office Workers More Competent and Efficient,” focused on practical applications that participants could take back to their desks immediately. Over the two days, attendees developed multiple use cases for creating Copilot agents designed to save time across their specific roles and workflows.
