The Greater Sacramento Chapter of NECA hosted a two-day immersive “Intro to AI” training at IBEW Local 340, welcoming 45 electrical contracting professionals from the Sacramento region. The training, led by Dan Callahan, a Dynaimix AI trainer, focused on practical, high-impact applications of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Gemini, with a spotlight on AI Vision and AI Agent technologies.
The attendees represented a wide range of AI experience levels—from complete beginners to seasoned users. Regardless of background, every participant left with actionable strategies to integrate AI into their daily workflows. A recurring theme throughout the training was using AI to reclaim time—particularly around email management, internal communications, and task automation.
