Setup for a Smooth Presentation.
To ensure a smooth and successful presentation at your location, the following audio-visual setup is requested. If there are any questions or concerns, please communicate them in advance so we can discuss alternatives.
Video Playback
- HDMI cord connected to a projector or TV
- If using a TV, please ensure audio output is available
- If using a projector, a separate speaker system is needed
- Chris can bring his own smaller speaker system for rooms of 20 people or less if needed
Audio
- A lapel mic is preferred for larger rooms and audiences
- A handheld microphone is also requested (if available) to demo audio recordings from phone during the presentation
Slide Deck
- Presentation is built in Keynote on Mac — average file size is 4GB
- Chris prefers to use his own laptop for the presentation
- Please have visible table tents with attendee names for easy identification
Setup & Timing
- Chris arrives a minimum of one hour before the presentation to test A/V and ensure a smooth start
- Chris stands and moves when he speaks — a podium is not necessary
Presenter Station
- A high-top or cocktail table is ideal for live demonstrations of AI software
- Please have a keyboard and mouse near the presenter station — Chris frequently drives live on his computer and in browsers throughout the presentation
